A bunch to cover in this journal entry.. Or not. I haven't decided yet.

First off, I finished a notebook, which means I start uploading the good stuff from it. Tonight, I uploaded twenty-nine pieces. Twenty -nine! It was a slow, painful process, but I did it. Go look at all of them!

Second, that Flaming Fusion piece I did for the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 website contest? Yeah, I won. 140 entries and five winners. I was one of them. That's the first drawing contest I've ever won. Go check it out Here![link]

Third, Summer's over! Noooo! It was a fun summer. I got to go to Europe! It was amazing. I went to Rome, Assissi, Florince, Pisa, and Barcelona. Ignore my spelling errors, it's late. I loved Rome the best. It was my first "big city" experience. I lifeguarded for the rest of the summer. Money is awesome.

I've begun my Senior year in high school. It's busybusybusy. I do like getting out of school early, though.

Batman: Arkham Asylum! Wow! It was AMAZING! I loved this game. I just beat it Sunday. Only problem with it was that it felt a little too short, and the final boss battle kinda sucked... But Harley and Ivy ROCKED!

Disney buys Marvel... Hmm... At first, I thought the same thing everyone else did. I was MAD. But then I read some more on the issue. I'm now about 86% supportive of this move. Disney CEO whats-his-face Iger is a comic dork. He loves Marvel comics and he has comics in his blood. Some of his relatives did some company or something-- I forget. The thing is, he doesn't want to change the characters at all. He stated that Marvel will still act independently from the Disney Company as a whole. Marvel isn't going G-rated. Remember, Disney owns ABC, home to Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Lost, and other adult-oriented shows. Disney doesn't kiddy-fy things, as everyone thinks they do. Also, all of Marvel's previous deals with movie, TV, video game, and toy companies will still be in effect until their contracts run out. For most of those, the contracts run till 2017. Disney can't do much until then. Immediate effects of this move will benefit Marvel a great deal. Marvel now has one of the best marketing groups behind them. This is a great move and I'm hoping to see great things from this.
